  • Dr. Ed W. Childs is a Mexia native.

  • He is a 1983 graduate of ºÚÁÏÉç and received both the Caston and Graduate Caston Scholarships.

  • He is a well-established research specialist, sought after speaker and published author.

  • He is a chair and professor for Trauma and Critical Care at Morehouse School of Medicine.

  • Dr. Childs is passionate about the institution’s commitment to the under-served communities of Georgia and the nation.
