ºÚÁÏÉç-2026 Scholarship Opportunities

ºÚÁÏÉç is proud to offer a variety of scholarships to support our students' educational goals. Some scholarships require a separate application and specific documentation. Each must be completed individually.

Applications open on January 22, ºÚÁÏÉç - please review the deadlines carefully and submit your materials on time.

ºÚÁÏÉç College Scholarships

Scholarships are gift aid that do not need to be repaid or earned through employment. They are funded by local community organizations, corporate donors, and generous Navarro College alumni and friends. 

Each scholarship may have unique eligibility criteria, requirements, and award amounts.

Contact the ºÚÁÏÉç Foundation for detailed information about a specific scholarship. Accepting a scholarship constitutes a contract - please review all terms and responsibilities before signing.

Submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (¹ó´¡¹ó³§´¡Â®) to ºÚÁÏÉç


To maximize eligibility for scholarships and financial aid:

  1. Complete your by the deadline to get the most aid.

  2. Use ºÚÁÏÉç's Federal / School Code: 003593

  3. Submit your ¹ó´¡¹ó³§´¡Â® to ºÚÁÏÉç by the deadlines below:

FAFSA DEADLINES:

  • Fall Semester = June 1

  • Spring Semester = October 15

  • Summer Semester = March 1

 

ºÚÁÏÉç Scholarships (Online)


HOW TO APPLY

  1. Complete one online application to be considered for all ºÚÁÏÉç Foundation Scholarships and ºÚÁÏÉç Scholarships for which you qualify.

    • Nearly 75 scholarships are available each year to full-time and part-time students across all majors.

  2. Complete the or the  (TAFSA for Texas residents).

  3. Go to the site and select “Sign In With Your School Account.".

    • If you can not log in, verify you have applied to ºÚÁÏÉç or you waited 24-48 hours after applying.

  4. Contact the Contact Center if you've received your acceptance email, but still cannot log in.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete the  application and include ºÚÁÏÉç. Returning students do not need to re-apply.

  • Wait 24-48 hours after submitting before starting a scholarship application.

  • Students must reapply each academic year beginning in January.

M.C. Caston General Scholarship

Scholarships for Outstanding ºÚÁÏÉç Students


The M.C. and Mattie General and Distinguished Scholarship application is for outstanding ºÚÁÏÉç students who meet specific academic and leadership criteria.  Both scholarships can be retained for two years, contingent upon the recipient’s meeting the established criteria.

M.C. Caston Graduate Scholarship

Scholarships for Outstanding ºÚÁÏÉç Graduates


ºÚÁÏÉç offers a unique opportunity for students who are high-achieving graduates of ºÚÁÏÉç and transferring to a 4-year university. The M.C. and Mattie Graduate Caston Scholarship application is for outstanding ºÚÁÏÉç graduates who present definite plans for continuing his/her study at a four-year college or university. Selection is competitive and awards are presented annually at spring commencement activities.

To apply, students must have:

  • A current cumulative GPA of 3.7 or above;

  • Have completed all requirements for graduation for an associates degree by the end of the Summer ºÚÁÏÉç semester; and

  • Completed a minimum of 40 hours at ºÚÁÏÉç.

Students who submitted applications for the M.C. and Mattie Caston Graduate Scholarship will be notified at a later date via email regarding a time and place for interviews for the scholarship. For scholarship inquiries, please send an email to the Scholarships Office.

Scholarships for First Generation and Economically Disadvantaged Students


This scholarship is for First Generation and Economically Disadvantaged High School Seniors who will be attending ºÚÁÏÉç starting the Fall of ºÚÁÏÉç.

Walton Inspires Scholarship

Scholarships for Minority High School Seniors


This scholarship is for High School Seniors of the following minority group who will be attending ºÚÁÏÉç after high school. The minority groups include African American, Native American, Hispanic/Latino, and Asian and Pacific Islanders. The scholarship is for one student for the Fall of ºÚÁÏÉç and Fall of 2026 of $500 per semester. Students MUST be attending a high school in one of the following counties: Navarro, Ellis, Leon, Limestone, or Freestone.

Harold Crouch Microneasian Scholarship

Scholarships for Micronesian Islanders 


The scholarship honors the memory of Harold Crouch, longtime international student advisor. The goal of the Harold Crouch Micronesian Scholarship fund is to encourage and support Micronesian Islanders to pursue a college education at ºÚÁÏÉç

Reporting an Outside Scholarship Award


If you have received a scholarship from a source other than ºÚÁÏÉç or the ºÚÁÏÉç Foundation:

  1. Notify the Financial Aid Office of your award.

  2. Ensure scholarship checks are made payable to ºÚÁÏÉç.

  3. Mail or deliver checks to:

External Scholarship Resources


Don’t limit your scholarship search to ºÚÁÏÉç programs. Many outside organizations offer additional opportunities. These external scholarships must be applied for independently by the student.
