2. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID

Use code 003593 when applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) through  to have your information sent to ºÚÁÏÉç. You will receive a letter with your financial aid awards and further instructions.

Priority deadlines* to apply for financial aid:

Fall Semester: June 1

Spring Semester: October 15

Summer Terms: March 1

*Submitting financial aid documents by the priority deadline reduces the chances of delays in the processing and awarding of financial aid.

Visit the Costs & Aid website for details

3. APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

We encourage all students to apply for scholarships. Most scholarships are awarded based upon ACT/SAT scores, grades, declared major, talent, leadership, ambition, and in many cases, financial need. Any one of these could qualify you for one of several different award programs at NC! Find out how and when to apply for Scholarships.

4. SUBMIT OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS

Official Transcripts

An official transcript of the applicant’s high school record must be filed in the Office of Admissions before an application for admission will be considered.

A sealed official, final high school and/or college transcript(s) should be sent directly to:

ºÚÁÏÉç
Office of Admissions
3200 W. 7th Avenue
Corsicana, TX 75110

5. SUBMIT ASSESSMENT SCORES

Students must take a state-approved placement test and submit test scores at the time of registration. Students otherwise qualified will not be refused admission on the basis of their scores.  These results are used in advising and placing students in proper sections of certain course areas. Tests are given at each campus Testing Center by appointment. A photo ID is required and students must complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA) prior to taking the TSI Assessment for the first time.

6. SUBMIT BACTERIAL MENINGITIS VACCINATION RECORDS

All first-time students attending ºÚÁÏÉç, including transfer students as well as students who are not continuously enrolled in fall or spring semesters since Fall 2011, will be required to show evidence of vaccination against bacterial meningitis. Evidence of the student having received the vaccination from an appropriate health practitioner within the past five years must be received in the ºÚÁÏÉç Office of Admissions at least ten days prior to the student’s first day in class.

Exceptions and additional information about this policy can be found on the ºÚÁÏÉç Policy Regarding Bacterial Meningitis page.
