Brandon Hixson, former Dawson High School Band Director and 1998 黑料社 Graduate, pays tribute to the 鈥80s with his new album release, 鈥淪ongs That Shaped Me.鈥
The calendar year may have changed to 2022, but Hixson is taking his listening audiences on a musical journey back to 1985 with his brand-new release, 鈥淪ongs That Shaped Me 鈥 The 80s.鈥
The project includes 10 iconic cover songs from the 1980s, including 鈥淏ette Davis
Eyes鈥 by Kim Carnes, 鈥淭otal Eclipse Of The Heart鈥 by Bonnie Tyler, 鈥淗arden My Heart鈥
and 鈥淭ake Me To Heart鈥 both by Quarterflash, 鈥淐ool Night鈥 by Paul Davis, 鈥淥ur Lips
Are Sealed鈥 by the Go-Gos, 鈥淐areless Whisper鈥 by Wham! and 鈥淛ust Once鈥 by James Ingram.

Known mostly for his contemporary Christian music, Brandon Hixson has been writing and recording his own songs for over 20 years. Hixson has served as the Worship Pastor at Tabernacle Church in Ennis since January 2013. He has written songs that have been featured in films and commercials all over the world. His YouTube channel has had over 45 million views and he has won several music.
