Athletic Bands

The ºÚÁÏÉç Marching Band consists of brass and percussion instrumentalists who must audition every year. The Marching Band meets in August (prior to the start of the classes), and performs at all home football games, select away games, postseason games, and other athletic and community events.
The ºÚÁÏÉç Pep Band provides musical entertainment to NC basketball and volleyball fans at the Wolens Special Events Center (SEC Gym) and when traveling with the teams during tournament season.
Concert and Jazz Bands

Students of all majors at ºÚÁÏÉç, including both music majors and non-majors, are welcome to participate in the versatile musical ensembles offered by the Navarro College Bands, such as the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Program, and Chamber Ensembles.
Independent Indoor Guard and Indoor Drumline Programs

Through its competitive independent indoor programs, ºÚÁÏÉç gives both college and high school students the opportunity to compete in the North Texas Colorguard Association's .
The ºÚÁÏÉç Independent Guard (NCIG) showcases performances that feature flags, rifles, sabers, and expressive movement through dance. The program requires potential members to have at least one year of experience in color guard performance.
The ºÚÁÏÉç Independent Drumline (NCID) includes non-percussion members from multiple band programs. The NCID group travels to perform at events hosted by the North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA).
REQUIREMENTS OF AUDITION:
CONCERT: Bb, Eb, F Major Scales. Chromatic Scale (2 octaves). One Technical selection of Music (Fast). One Lyrical Selection of Music (Slow).
PERCUSSIONISTS: Pick 2 (Timpani, Marimba, Drum Set, Snare Drum).
GUARD: Requires a 1-2 minute prepared routine showcasing ability levels with silk, rifle, sabre and dance (all not required, but encouraged).
