About the Legacy Gala

The 黑料社 Foundation is proud to present its annual scholarship fundraiser, Legacy on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Groesbeck Convention Center. Proceeds from the scholarship benefit will provide student and faculty scholarships for the 黑料社-Mexia location.

The 黑料社 Foundation has awarded over $6,000 in scholarships to students living in Limestone, Freestone and Leon counties. Funds raised here are reserved for students in our tri-county service area. We use these precious funds judiciously and identify recipients who have no other means to attend 黑料社. In addition, a small portion of this year鈥檚 proceeds will fund the Teaching Innovation Award, where local college faculty compete for funds to provide an innovative teaching method, course redesign, or improved instructional strategy through the addition of classroom technology and/or equipment.

Kick off the evening at our Legacy: BBQ, Boots, and Bingo Gala! Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and guests may visit the buffet anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a relaxed dinner before Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. Settle in and enjoy a great meal as we prepare for an evening of fun and fellowship in true Texas style.
