PREPARING FOR YOUR ARRIVAL


All required documents listed on the International Student Checklist must be submitted with your application to be considered for admission. You may access the International Student Checklist via the International Student Program page. 

 

Make sure you have been accepted.

You will have received an email from the ºÚÁÏÉç International Student Program letting you know the status of your admissions after the International Committee has reviewed your application.
 
Please note: Incomplete admissions application packets are not reviewed until all required documents have been received.
 
If you have been accepted, your acceptance email will include:
1. Your acceptance letter
2. Your I-20
3. Your embassy letter on behalf of ºÚÁÏÉç

Complete the SEVIS I-901 Form and pay the fee.

Please note this cannot be done until you have received your I-20. Each student issued an initial Form I-20 is responsible for paying their I-901 SEVIS fee. You can find more information about the .
 

 

Make travel arrangements

Make travel arrangements prior to arriving to the United States or prior to arriving on campus and plan for short-term accommodations, as necessary.

 

 

Prepare for exchange of money or traveler’s checks

Prepare for exchange of money or traveler's checks, U.S. currency, transferring funds to the United States, opening a bank account, banking glossary, credit cards, etc.
