Zeta Omicron Chapter 


ZETA OMICRON VISION STATEMENT
The Zeta Omicron Chapter will be a nationally recognized chapter of the International Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, committed to guiding students to their educational and career goals while emphasizing the hallmarks of Phi Theta Kappa: Leadership, Scholarship, Fellowship, and Service.
 

The name of the ºÚÁÏÉç Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is Zeta Omicron.  Founded in 1947, this chapter is part of the which is within of the International Honor Society. It is a non-profit organization of students at ºÚÁÏÉç (NC) who have met the requirements for membership and have been accepted as members of the Society. 

The purpose of Zeta Omicron Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa ºÚÁÏÉç shall be the promotion of scholarship, the development of leadership and service, and the cultivation of fellowship among qualified students of this college.

The Zeta Omicron Chapter is an active chapter that works hard to support Phi Theta Kappa, ºÚÁÏÉç-Corsicana, ºÚÁÏÉç-Mexia, ºÚÁÏÉç Online Learning, local high schools and surrounding communities. We are active in fundraising, charity drives, encouraging fellowship among college students, taking leadership roles on and off campus, continuing our education and scholarly endeavors, and above all, we are committed to having fun.

The Zeta Omicron Chapter has been in continuous operation since 1947 and has seven officers, including a Chapter President, a Vice President of Service, a Vice President of Fundraising, a Vice President of Fellowship, a Vice President of Scholarship, a Public Relations Officer, and a Vice President of Leadership.

This chapter does four invitations per year with two induction ceremonies per year.  Induction ceremonies take place at the Cook Education Center (Corsicana) and they are formal events for the inductees, family, and friends.  Inductees sign the membership book which dates back to 1947.

Phi Theta Kappa and the ºÚÁÏÉç Zeta Omicron Chapter will be hosting and sponsoring many exciting events throughout the year with lots of opportunities for fellowship development between members and non-members.
