Learn about how our students' and alumni's experiences at ºÚÁÏÉç have impacted their career objectives.
Josue Palacios, Class of 2012
Psychology Major
"I decided that I wanted to stay in my hometown and make it a little bit easier on my family to support me. Ultimately I wanted to go to law school and I knew that starting in ºÚÁÏÉç was my first step."
Corsicana native, Josue served in the Army for several years before he applied to ºÚÁÏÉç. He wanted to go to law school and decided to start at Navarro because it was close to his family, work, and home. He talked to his College advisors and the attorneys he worked with at the Navarro County District Attorney's Office and they guided him through the process of laying out his career pathway to becoming a lawyer. He decided to go into Psychology and is grateful to the people that helped him with his career choice.
