    ACCEPTED STUDENTS - THE NEXT STEPS
     

Congratulations & Welcome to the NC Bulldog Family!

There are a few things you will need to do to get ready.

 

1. REVIEW YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTER

The letter you received from ºÚÁÏÉç Office of Admissions contains important instructions you’ll need to start enrolling.

 

 

2. USE THE CHECKLIST

Look through the ºÚÁÏÉç checklist for Admissions, Registration, and Financial Aid to see what else you need to do to attend NC.

 

 

3. SET UP YOUR ACCOUNTS

Check your personal email account that you submitted with the Application for Admission for directions to set up your accounts, including:

  • – where all official College communication will be sent

  • – access to our secure web portal

  • Contact Center – find login instructions here

 

 

4. MEET WITH YOUR ADVISOR & REGISTER FOR CLASSES

If you are an incoming freshman (or returning student who has been out 12 months or longer), you will need to meet with your College Career & Success Coach (Advisor) for course registration.  Transfer or returning students in good standing are encouraged to visit with a College & Career Success Coach before choosing classes. However, students in good standing may register themselves.

5. PAY FOR CLASSES

ºÚÁÏÉç is here to help you navigate the financial obligations of college. You can pay for your classes using one of several options:

Financial Aid or Scholarships:

Tuition and fees are automatically deducted from your financial aid awards. You are responsible for paying any remaining tuition and fees.

Make a Full Payment Online:

It’s the fastest and most convenient way to pay your invoice. Save time, avoid long lines and .

 

Set Up a Payment Plan Online (Installment Plan):

Make college more affordable by paying for tuition and fees over time. Tuition payment plans break down your tuition balance into affordable monthly payments. There’s no interest, payment options options, setup fees are affordable, and it’s easy to enroll! Learn more about the or go ahead and sign up for now.

 

Pay In-Person Through the Cashier's Office:

We accept cash, credit cards, cashier’s check, and money orders during normal business hours, Monday – Friday and extended hours during peak registration.

 

 

6. REQUESTING STUDENT SERVICES

CTE Success Center

Students from all Business, Professional, and Technical Education majors are encouraged to apply for textbook loans, childcare & transportation assistance, tutoring services, job seeking resources, and all other services the CTE Success Center has to offer as early as their first year. These services provided by the CTE Success Center are free of charge, and are available to students during their time at NC.

Office of Accessibility & Accommodations

To ensure maximum support in achieving college success, students with disabilities are encouraged to request for services up to one month prior to the start of classes.

TRIO Student Support Services

The Federal TRIO programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged and underserved populations to earn an associate degree and transfer to a four-year school. Students are encouraged to apply for TRIO’s free services which includes campus tours of 4-year universities, workshops, one-on-one or group tutoring, and many more.

7. GET YOUR STUDENT ID AND PARKING PERMIT

These are available in the Office of Admissions at any campus.

Note: About Student IDs
All students are required to display their Student ID while on location.

 

 

8. BUY YOUR BOOKS

All students must bring their class schedule and student ID to the Bookstore. This will aid the Bookstore in pulling the correct books for you.

Bring any scholarship/sponsorship paperwork when you buy your books.
