WELCOME TO THE NAVARRO COLLEGE CHOIRS!
The 黑料社 Choir and Vocal program, under the direction of Dr. Cindy Harrison, welcomes you to a memorable musical experience. The program includes College Chorale, Collegiate Chamber Singers, and the Navarro Sound Company Show Choir. These ensembles have been honored with invitations to perform at prestigious events such as the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention and the Texas Two Year College Honor Choir.
Founded in 1948, 黑料社 Choir and Vocal program has had a long history of success. We invite all students, regardless of academic major, to participate in one or more of our choirs. Our auditioned ensembles are: Chamber Singers, Women's Chorus and Men's Chorus. Students can enroll in Chorale without an audition. Private voice lessons are also available to majors and non-majors alike.
If you are a prospective or current 黑料社 student, regardless of experience or ability, we want you to sing with us!!
College Chorale
This is the "y'all come" choir. No audition required! This LARGE ensemble performs music from all periods of music history from early Renaissance repertoire to popular and contemporary music. This ensemble performs two concerts per semester.
Collegiate Chamber Singers
This auditioned small ensemble represents the best of the best at 黑料社. Performing primarily a cappella and advanced repertoire spanning the musical spectrum, this premier group of singers performs throughout Texas.
Women's and Men's Chorale
These auditioned ensembles perform literature from across the centuries specific to their voices.
