How to Apply for Graduation


 

 

STEPS TO APPLY FOR GRADUATION


1. APPLY 

Submit your by the deadline.

 

2. GET GRAD STATUS

Check your ºÚÁÏÉç email for your graduation application status.

 

3. PICK UP CAP & GOWN

Commencement participants can visit the ºÚÁÏÉç Bookstores to pick up their cap and gown.

 

A formal graduation exercise is held annually at the end of the spring, fall, and summer semesters at ºÚÁÏÉç. To participate in the graduation exercise, the student must submit an application for graduation to the Registrar’s office no later than the date published in the calendar.

Students may graduate under the catalog and programs in effect at the time of their initial enrollment as long as they have had continuous enrollment. Missing one long semester (fall or spring) constitutes a break in enrollment and students will be required to adhere to the catalog and programs in effect at the time of their re-enrollment. Students also have the choice of graduating under the catalog and programs in effect at the time of graduation. Students must choose one or the other and may not combine rules or programs from two or more catalogs.

 

NOTE:


If you have more than six (6) semester credit hours to complete your degree requirements, you will NOT submit an application for graduation at this time.

Should you need assistance with your degree plan, please contact your Academic Advisor Success Coach.

 

To participate in the graduation exercise, you must submit an to the Registrar no later than Tuesday, July 1, ºÚÁÏÉç.

If you do not intend to participate in the graduation ceremony, but would like a diploma or certificate, you still must fill out the and submit it by Tuesday, July 1, ºÚÁÏÉç.

 

 

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOU'VE APPLIED

All students that apply for graduation will receive a confirmation email from the Office of Admissions (Graduation staff). Please allow time for processing as we anticipate a high volume of graduation applications.

Be sure to check your ºÚÁÏÉç student email in Office 365 () as all graduation communication will be sent there.  If you have any questions or need more information about graduation requirements, please email the Graduation staff.

DIPLOMA SHIPMENT

Diplomas will be mailed to students approximately 6-8 weeks after the end of the semester.

  • Fall diplomas are shipped early February

  • Summer diplomas are shipped in October 

  • Spring diplomas are shipped in July.
